"Stremež" Literary Magazine"

"Stremež" is one of the longest living printed literary magazines in the Republic of Macedonia (first issue was published in 1954). It publish poems, short stories, essays, theory, literary criticism and book reviews, both from established Macedonian and world-known authors (some of them are: Pablo Neruda, Andrey Voznesensky, Eugenio Montale, Wislawa Szymborska, Zbigniew Herbert, Debora Vaarandi, Justo Jorge Padron etc.). The publication of "Stremež" is supported by the Ministry of culture of the Republic of Macedonia and is published by National Institution - Cultural Centre "Marko Cepenkov" - Prilep. Members of the Editorial Board are prominent Macedonian authors: Mr. Trajče Krsteski (editor-in-chief), Jovica Tasevski - Eternijan and Mr. Sande Stojčevski (editors). "Stremež" has a great reputation and influence on the Macedonian literary scene.

The Collaboration:

The Enchanting Verses Literary Review collaborated with Stremez, with effect from March 2011. (1-3) poets published in The Enchanting Verses and poems of the selected poet/poets  are send to the editorial board of Stremez for Macedonian translation and subsequent feature in the yearly pages of Sremez. The decision is solely made by the editorial board of The Enchanting Verses in consultation with the Consulting Macedonian Editor and selections are send by 15th May of each year.
