Rabindranath Tagore
Rabindranath Tagore by Dr. Bina Biswas
Mrs. Bina Biswas, is a Professor of English Language and communications at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. She is an alumnus of the University of Delhi and has a Doctorate from Andhra University. She has carried out extensive research on Tagore’s short stories and poems for over six years. She writes short stories and poems and translates Tagore’s poems into English. Her stories have been published in different Indian and Asian journals. Her research topics were Tagore’s female protagonists in his short stories and his prose poems, respectively for M.Phil and Ph.D. Presently she is working out on a biography on Rabindranath Tagore. She currently lives in Hyderabad with her husband and two children.
